Gold refinery owners and jewels market traders have declared a general strike in Burj Hammoud yesterday. Alongside them were all jewellers in Achrafieh, condemning the massacre of a jewellery refinery owner and his 4 employees in the city of Burj Hammoud, on the 28th of March. Goods worth 20 million lira were stolen at the site.
